About me
I’m Henna—Dutch-born, a Mother and owner of Mistress of Conjure folk magick supplies, Lifestyle Mistress, solitary folk witch, and spiritual artisan.
I paint, do some silversmithing, am a canine behaviourism student and like to pick-up needle & thread every now and then.
I’ve always known there were "others". They spoke to me as a child, and they still do via dreams.
My father, was a practitioner of the Afro-Surinamese religion/spiritual practice of Winti and my Oma/nan brewed remedies with quiet power.
In my early twenties, I picked up tarot cards and fell into the orbit of Crowley and Waite. That led me later in life deeper into the Hermetic study, Rosicrucianism, and the layered mysteries that speak in silence.
My first candle magick spell? Lit in a haunted house in Amsterdam, with candles prepared by the Santero down the street.
I walk alone—I’m an Einzelgänger, a lone wolf by nature, guided by ancestral voices and the quiet clarity of solitary practice. My magick is rooted in research, ritual, and reverence.
My ancestors come from every corner of the globe.
I honor them by weaving their magick into my work.
If you’d like to step into my world, follow me at my only folk magick accounts at Instagram/TikTok: @mistressofconjure .
